To design and build an innovative contract stacking chair that accommodates various seating styles and sizes of people.

Performed research on current and past contract stacking furniture. Performed photographic research of seating habits. Created numerous sketches and models.

Using bent steel tubing and fiberglass formed seat and back, a fully functioning prototype was created. The back and seat are created from the same form to reduce tooling. The back adjusts forward and backwards to accommodate both tall and short people. The chair doubles as an occasional chair to allow for a greater higher end market.
