problem

I have designed and developed many pieces of furniture from a couch made of cedar fencing to chairs and tables.  Most always I design and build a piece of furniture based on my current need...for example a place to sit down.

process

My process for furniture design and development usually starts with a need, followed by research and then into sketching.  In some cases I will create small models out of simple materials but other times I will just grab some materials and start to play.

solution

The images to the right are just a small sampling of some of the furniture I have built. I have recently started to find older Danish Modern style furniture at garage sales and rebuild and refinish them.
