As an avid user of portable external hard drives and a frequent traveler, I found an issue with where to put my hard drive when I was working especially in small places like an airplane, individual seat or crowded coffee shop.

I performed some research as to what was availble in market and what was patented and pending.  Sketches and quick prototypes were made to prove out the functionality of the concept.

A final CAD model was created to show the usage of a piggy back design that hangs from the back of the monitor of the laptop.  Other fabric and pocket type concepts were considered allowing for carrying of cords, earphones, chargers etc.
